Clayoquot Action invites you to attend a lively evening of discussion. Saya Masso, Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations Resource Manager will provide an update on efforts to prevent Imperial from mining the Tranquil Tribal Park. Jessica Clogg from West Coast Environmental Law will discuss the move to reform BC’s archaic mining laws, and Tofino Mayor Josie Osborne will describe the role Tofino has played so far. Celebrates the rich west coast culture and heritage. Events will include exciting exhibits, workshops, demos, feasts and activities for the whole family. Our focus this year is the Traditional Art of Wood Carving and Cedar Bark Weaving. The public will have the opportunity to observe master carvers at work and learn carving techniques through workshops and public demonstrations.

Storytelling is a free event and everyone is welcome! Please arrive 10 minutes early to find a seat. Come and gather around the centre pit in the main hall to listen to stories of Roy's life and times as well as inspiration of his work. Afterwards, Roy is available to meet guests and autograph his reproductions.
