The West Coast’s annual celebration of Canada’s Birthday. Activities in the Pacific Rim National Park at Wickinninnish Beach and in Ucluelet. Includes sand castle building, children's crafts and activities, beach volley ball, family BBC and of course – a parade! Festivities include Colour Guard Parade, children’s crafts and activities, sand castle competition, beach volleyball, free family BBQ and more! 18th Annual Tofino Shorebird Festival

Every year from late April through May, flocks of sandpipers, plovers, Whimbrels, and many other shorebirds pass through the Tofino area.
